I would like to suggest a "Prayer Mode" feature for users who use the app to check their Quran memorization during salah (prayer). When I recite parts of the prayer such as Surah Al-Fatihah or say Allahu Akbar between verses, the app currently flags these as mistakes because they are not part of the memorized surah. This makes it difficult to use the app effectively during prayer. A dedicated "Prayer Mode" could recognize standard prayer recitations and allow them without marking them as errors, making the memorization checking experience more accurate and prayer-friendly.

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, I would like to suggest an innovative feature for the Tarteel app: the ability to display recitation errors directly on smart glasses (e.g., Ray-Ban Meta, XReal, Vuzix, etc.). 🎯 Objective: Provide a fully hands-free recitation and memorization experience, where visual correction appears only when a mistake is detected, keeping the experience clean and non-distracting. 🔍 Proposed Functionality: The user recites aloud. Tarteel listens in the background via the glasses’ or phone’s microphone. No display is shown as long as the recitation is correct. If a mistake is detected (missing word, mispronunciation, etc.), a subtle overlay appears in the glasses: 🔴 the incorrect word ✅ the expected word 📖 optionally, the verse or reference 🕌 Highly valuable use case for Imams: This feature would be especially useful for imams leading prayer (salat) from memory. The imam wears smart glasses during prayer. As long as the recitation is correct, nothing appears. If an error occurs, the correction is instantly displayed discreetly—allowing the imam to self-correct without pausing the prayer or relying on someone behind him. 📱 This would create a smoother, more confident and self-reliant experience for both individual users and religious leaders. A mode where you can put the phone beside you in prayer. When you make mistake you can hear that you made a mistake. And when you are stuck it recites the word after it, just like someone would in a prayer.

I suggest to add the ability to not highlight word by word and be patient during ruku and sugood (to not stop recording). This way Imam can forget about flipping pages . I can pray tahajud this way without being distracted with the highlight. Also if i put the tablet in-front of me while following imam i can correct him if he makes mistakes but without distracting others with the highlighting feature and without the need to reach to the tablet to flip pages. But the app needs to keep listening during ruku and sujood even when they take long time. Bonus : the app detects prayer mode and displays a ruku counter.

Smart Glasses that use tarteel.ai to detect live the portion of Quran that is being recited during Salah and also gives the translation so you can see side by side the arabic and translation of the Quran so you could have khushoo’ in salah for the non arabs. The glasses could be Bluetooth connected to a smartphone so it can be efficient and effective. Thats farfetched but still an idea nonetheless. Something more plausible would be an app on something like a smartwatch which is small, unnoticeable, will not disturb others and can be easily viewed while it’s strapped to your wrist in Salah. A brother already mentioned something similar to this and i will use his reasoning’s as to why it’s valuable: “ Why This Feature is Valuable: Enhances Quran Reflection: Many non-Arabic speakers and even Arabic learners struggle to fully grasp the meaning of recitations during prayer due to the pace and complexity of the verses. Encourages Learning & Memorization: By seeing the recited verses post-prayer, users can better connect with the Quran and even work on memorizing what was recited. If this feature cannot be implemented immediately due to resource constraints, I’d also like to ask if Tarteel provides an API for real-time Quranic recitation detection. If available, I can work separately utilizing Tarteel’s existing capabilities on app to do this. Another idea would be to allow them to hear the translation in salah but im skeptical about this because i dont know if it is allowed or not.

a feature that allows it to correct your recitation in salah , for example the salat al layl , night prayer, this would be extremely useful, it corrects the mistakes by reciting the verse after a period of silence

Hello, I'd like to use this app during my voluntary prayer but it gets stuck after I recite al fatihah. Can you add a mode in which either of these options can happen. surah al fatihah is completely ignored by the AI The app allows you to move to another surah / ayah after reciting surah al fatihah (instead of getting stuck at surah al baqarah)
