My beloved brother..
I apologize for the late response..
I found some notes.. Extra while reading and trying
1/The audio tracker returns in verses for no reason.
Or he suddenly stops tracking so we have to repeat the verse from the beginning in order to follow it..
2/The tracker with the yellow box covers the word from the beginning of the verse and does not move
Especially at the beginning of the page and transitions between pages..
3/The follower hears my words wrong and often stays on the verses in red, even though I am sure I read them correctly and clearly
4/Some verse numbers disappear and do not appear when moving to the next verse
5/When rereading the previous verse, the follower reveals words from the next verse and then counts them as an error
I mean, it does not stop. “Unlike the mobile version, he may understand that you have gone back a little bit.” He cannot know if you are seeking refuge and are happy to read a verse
6/ There is no star sign that separates parties. In each part, there are 8 parties that are marked by an asterisk. Next to the page there is a sign that shows this, as well as the sign of Sajdah next to the page and between verses.
7/ Page dimensions are inconsistent and the font is small
Please, we would like to have two consecutive pages on the tablet or desktop for better. There is wasted space on both sides of the page or a button that makes me choose one or two pages next to each other, as in the “Quran Android” app for the tablet. The mobile version has consistency. If you have tried, you will know what I mean
There is also information and data at the top and bottom that make me have to reduce or enlarge the page by running away my mouse in order to get a suitable format..
I apologize again if I upset you with so many comments and suggestions..
8/Having the verses numbers in their correct place while hiding the words before reaching them or before reciting them from the audio tracker will help track and predict the verse and facilitate memorization and review, as in the mobile version. This makes it difficult to choose the face, especially when starting from the middle of the surah. I cannot identify the page (no verse numbers, no page number, no signs of prostration or stars... Just a blank)
9/ The index of the surah cannot be enlarged in order to make it easier for me to choose the surah
10/ I can't save the face with a bookmark until I return to appeal, unlike the mobile version.
11/The location of the settings is small. I didn't pay attention to its location until late. Thank you for adding night vision from all my depths. I get pain from bright light in general
...
I know that it is an initial version rather than a final version. It can be modified and developed in order to achieve its beauty, the most beautiful look and the best view..
I deeply appreciate your efforts. May God bless you and many others like you. Every letter we read is in the balance of your good deeds.
If you don't mind I try and share the link with more proficient readers so we can collect more feedback..
I will provide you with all the notes I will explore during the recitation, Inshallah..

Dear Brother,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a few additional notes and feature suggestions following my previous message:
1/ Hizb and Juz Completion Notifications:
It would be wonderful if you could add a subtle, gentle floating notification—on both the mobile app and the desktop version—that alerts the user whenever they complete a Hizb or a Juz.
2/ Page and Rub' Tracking on Desktop:
On the desktop version specifically, it is currently difficult to know which page or Hizb I have reached. The star markers that traditionally indicate the quarters (Rub') or eighths (Thum'n) in printed Mushafs are not very clear.
3/ Appreciation for the Madinah Mushaf Layout:
For years, I have been memorizing and reviewing using the King Fahd Complex (Madinah print) edition. Alhamdulillah, having this layout available on the Tarteel mobile app has been immensely helpful for my memorization, and I am truly grateful for it.
4/ Note on Dark Mode & Display Colors:
I use a Dark Mode extension on my Chrome browser, which might slightly alter how some visual elements appear on my screen (for example, the tracking box appears yellow to me, though it seems to be yellow natively as well, since turning off dark mode leaves the page bright white, which is quite straining on the eyes during long reading sessions).
5/ Bright Theme Straining:
I used to rely on the mobile app to avoid the harsh bright white background, but I am confident that with your ongoing updates, the desktop experience will become just as smooth and comfortable.
Thank you so much for taking these notes into consideration and for all your efforts. I truly appreciate your patience and dedication, and I hope I haven't overburdened you with these details.
Jazak Allah Khair, and apologies again for taking your time.
Wassalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh

Dear Brother,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,
Thank you so much for keeping me updated, and I sincerely apologize for the delayed reply.
I tested the version on the desktop application via my laptop, and I noticed a few issues:
Voice Tracker Issue: The voice tracker on the desktop version cannot automatically identify the verse if I start reading from the middle of a Surah (unlike the mobile app version). I have to manually select the Surah and the page first for it to recognize the verse.
Recitation Speed: When I review my Quran memorization, I read and recite at a fast pace. The desktop tracker struggles to follow along with my fast recitation speed. However, it works smoothly on the mobile app, and we would love to see it perform just as well on the desktop platform.
Istia'adhah & Basmalah: The tracker sometimes picks up the Istia'adhah (seeking refuge) and Basmalah and misinterprets them as a verse. It struggles to distinguish them, whereas the mobile app handles this very well.
Similar Verses (Mutashabihat) Highlighting: On the mobile app, the verse tracker highlights similar verses from other Surahs in color. In the desktop version, these highlights are not colored.
UI & Visual Design: The yellow box on the desktop tracker is a bit distracting. On the mobile app, the verse tracking displays words neatly with a beautiful, harmonious blue color that is easy on the eyes and does not disturb the recitation.
Page Layout: The page layout on desktop doesn't closely resemble the standard Mushaf page yet (for instance, the artistic script for Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim is missing).
However, this is no problem at all; together, God willing, we will continue to improve and develop this feature.
Jazak Allah Khair, and I reiterate my apologies for the late response.

Assalamu alaykum Tarteel team,
Adding my voice to the 937 here, with a real daily use case:
I'm memorizing the last 5 ajza' through successive-khatmah cycles -
dozens of blind recitation reps every single day
, and Tarteel verifies every one of them. It has become my full-time AI listener, alhamdulillah. But these are long, stationary desk sessions - hours at a time. A phone is the wrong tool for this: battery drains mid-session, the screen is small, and notifications break focus. Every serious hifz student I know sits at a desk for exactly this kind of work.
The web app already handles reading and progress beautifully.
The one missing piece is live Mistake Detection in the browser.
That single feature would turn Tarteel into a true daily workstation for long-session memorizers - your heaviest and most loyal users.May Allah reward you for what you've already built. This request has waited since 2022 with nearly a thousand votes - we'd love to see it move to "In Progress" next to Tajweed Detection.
A daily user from Jeddah
