I'm a Quraan teacher at an islamic primary school, I have tarteel groups for each of my classes and the whole school. The kids were very keen at first, competing with each other in seeing who could recite the most Quraan, then some of them worked out that listening to the Qur'an would be counted in your time spent. So some of them just played the Quraan, not even listening to it whilst doing other stuff, parents told me some where even playing! This skewed the scores in the tables and it demoralised the kids that were actually reciting, so now, very few still use tarteel. My request is make the recitation time the main filter by default, and then listening, Quraan completions and referrals as secondary on filter tabs. Jzk.
