When I recite the Qur’an using Tarteel AI, I have noticed that many mistakes are not being detected.
Very often I make mistakes in harakat (zabar, zer, pesh), but the app does not flag them.
I even tested this intentionally by reading zabar instead of zer, and zer instead of zabar, yet no error was shown.
In addition to this, sometimes letter mistakes (lafzi errors) are also not detected.
For example, when I recite و (waw) instead of ف (fa), or ف instead of و, Tarteel still accepts the recitation as correct.
I also tested madd (elongation) mistakes on purpose. For example, when I recite “inna” instead of “innā” (with alif madd), or I unnecessarily stretch the sound (like “innnāaa”), Tarteel AI still does not detect any mistake, even though this changes the correct recitation.
This is very concerning for people who are memorizing or revising the Qur’an, because these errors change the meaning and should definitely be caught.
Please look into this issue and improve the accuracy of mistake detection, especially for harakat and similar-sounding letters.
Thank you.
