Gapless Audio Playback (listening to recitation without gaps)

When in recitation mode, the chosen reciter should have Gapless playback enabled so the recording doesn’t cut off at the end of the ayah and starts at the next one but flows as originally intended. Jzk!

Assalamu Alaykum everyone,
Gapless audio playback has now shipped. When listening, the recitation flows continuously from one ayah to the next without the break between audio files.
Jazakallahu Khairan for your patience and for the detailed feedback on this thread, it genuinely helped shape how we built it. Please update to the latest version to try it out inshallah.

Flow of Normal Recitation

Salam Alaykum All,
May Allah shower you with mercy and blessings for this noble project.
I had a very small request, if someone chooses to listen to the entire Sarah, there appears to be a break after every ayah and the verses dont flow, perhaps this is because each verse is a separate audio file, while this is good when repeating, when listening to full Surah it is very challenging.
Thank you so much, keep up the great work!

Please remove this as this effect the tone and just feels a bit off, because of this reason I have separate apps which I use for listening to reactions. Please remove this so we can have everything in one app. May Allah SWT help you

There is a delay between ayat. You should add an option not to keep delay between aya’s.

Improving Recitation Mode (improving the recitation mode of Sheikhs)

It would be better to remove the pause between verses in the recitation mode.
These pauses can be distracting and break the listener’s focus, making it harder to stay engaged and reflect on the meaning.
A smoother, continuous recitation helps the listener concentrate more and feel more connected to the verses.

Adding Option for Listening to Recitation of Ayat Continuously Instead of Pauses Between Ayat
O
Omartarteel4
When I’m listening to a certain range of Ayat it would be nice to have an option where it plays the recitation continuously with no pauses in between the Ayat. Many find it easier for memorization and combining the Ayat and having a nice flow for everything. Please add!

Make the Ayahs Continuous (keep the verse going)

So basically what I mean is the when the Qari/Shiekh is reciting and its at the end of the ayah when its going to the next ayah it will do a pause for like a second and then resume. The problem is that why can't it just keep playing with no pause. If there is any confusion please reply back to me and I can explain in greater detail. Salam Waalakum

Verse Transition Delay in Tarteel Disrupts Memorization
a
abdurahman53
Tarteel has a slight delay—around half a millisecond—between verses during listening to recitations. Though brief, this pause disrupts the natural flow of Quranic recitation, making it harder to form strong connections between ayahs. For those memorizing the Quran, this interruption can hinder rhythm, recall, and overall memorization quality. Resolving this issue would significantly enhance the app’s effectiveness as a memorization tool.
