As-Salamu Alaikum,
I’d love to see a new feature in Tarteel called "Salat Mode", which allows users to identify the Quranic verses recited by the Imam during prayers where recitation is audible (Fajr, Maghrib, and Isha).
How It Works:
Users can manually activate Salat Mode before prayer.
The app listens through the phone's microphone and detects the Quranic verses recited during each rak'ah.
After the prayer, the app provides a breakdown of the verses recited, allowing users to review and reflect on the meaning.
Why This Feature is Valuable:
Enhances Quran Reflection: Many non-Arabic speakers and even Arabic learners struggle to fully grasp the meaning of recitations during prayer due to the pace and complexity of the verses.
Supports Globalization & Inclusivity: As more people revert to Islam and pray behind Hafidh Imams who may recite from anywhere in the Quran, this feature will help bridge the understanding gap.
Encourages Learning & Memorization: By seeing the recited verses post-prayer, users can better connect with the Quran and even work on memorizing what was recited.
If this feature cannot be implemented immediately due to resource constraints, I’d also like to ask if Tarteel provides an API for real-time Quranic recitation detection. If available, I can work separately utilizing Tarteel’s existing capabilities on app to do this.
Looking forward to your consideration, and I believe this feature would encourage more engagement with the Quran after every Salah.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan!
