Al salam alaykum everyone, this feature has been added for all Premium users in our latest update that went out a few days ago. You can turn it on with the "resumable sessions" toggle in the settings. Please try it out and let us know your thoughts and whether or not this was what you were looking for.

Mohamed Moussa: JazakhaAllahu Khairan my brother. I think it works fine. Alhamdulilah at least now we can pause during a recitation instead of it automatically stopping it altogether and resetting the whole page.

Mohamed Moussa: after pause, the session is split up, it should be the same session.
Also my personal preference would be to make the stop button the bigger one, and pause smaller, and a bit further away, it's touching right now.

Thanks, I found it after latest update. You have to activate it from setting.

Thanks, But this is not working as supposed. It is working like I press stop button then record again.. while it is supposed to be worked as nothing happen between two records that the pause button pressed during them. It should be merged as one file.

the benefit I found by this new feature is to display the previous mistakes on the pages of Quran not on the separate screen as before by chosen "Load session". This will be helpful during memorization.

YahyaAhmad: Yeah I agree. I just found out now that if you pause between recitations, it splits the recitation and it's not a single session, instead it makes several sessions.

When reciting a particular surah, when you pause throughout the surah and once completed the surah. There shouldn't be several sessions due to the number of times paused. Rather it should count as just one session. Please fix this. JazakhaAllahu Khairan.

AhmedRashedy: أحيانا أثناء التلاوة اضطر لإيقاف التسجيل مؤقتا لمشكلة عارضة: مكالمة هاتفية، ضعف الانترنت، الانتقال من غرفة إلى غرفة، شرب الماء.. أود أن أستفيد من زر الإيقاف المؤقت في إكمال الجلسة من المكان الذي توقفت فيه بحيث أستطبع بعد إنهاء التسجيل: (1) الاستماع لكامل التلاوة بصورة متصلة، (2) وإظهار أماكن الأخطاء كلها في التلاوة في صفحة واحدة.

لكن ما يحدث الآن بعد إضافة زر الإيقاف المؤقت لم يختلف شيئا عن السابق عند الضغط على زر الإيقاف: تلاوات الجلسة الواحدة التي استحدمت فيها زر الإيقاف المؤقت تظهر في سجل النشاط منفصلة وكذلك الأخطاء

This can be a bit frustrating because whilst I'm recording my revision for memorization. I sometimes stop to remember but by the time I look back at the screen my recording has stopped and I have to start a whole new recording again. Is there like a timer to the recording button that it stops after a duration of time if it doesn't hear my voice? Please fix. JazakhaAllahu Khairan

Yes, this would be helpful so it won’t clear your current mistakes, and on memorization mode it won’t  blank the previously recite verses.
